9 cups of Chex Cereal (Corn, Rice, Wheat mixed) to begin the Homemade Chex Mix
3 cups nuts (pecans, cashews, etc)
1 cup pretzels (broken up into smaller pieces)
6 TBSP butter
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp No-salt seasoning (like a Mrs. Dash)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
M&Ms or candy (optional)
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
In a large roasting pan melt butter in oven
Remove roasting pan from oven when butter is melted
Add into the roasting pan Worcestershire sauce, no-salt seasoning, salt and garlic powder into melted butter and stir
Add to roasting pan chex cereal and mix
Add nuts and pretzel to roasting pan and mix
Roast the chex mix ingredients for 1 hour. Stirring every 15 minutes.
When roasting completed, spread out on paper towels to cool about 15 minutes
Store in sealed container
Mix in or layer with M&Ms or other candies
