Tips & Tricks for perfecting the Simple Veggie Cold Pasta
You may be wondering, wow this recipe is great, I love simple, easy recipes, but I don’t like tomatoes or I don’t like avocado, will this recipe taste as good with a vegetable substitute? The answer is yes! Sometimes instead of tomato or avocado, I do corn, broccoli, peas, green beans, anything that are vegetables are a great substitute. If you are looking to add in protein to the mix, simply add an egg or two.
To cool your pasta before you eat it, simply run it under cold water. This will immediately reduce the temperature of the pasta and is perfect for eating. Since the pasta is already cold, there is no need to put it in the frig or let it cool down. Simply, run cold water over the noodles and voilà the pasta is cold.
