Homemade Chex Mix is the perfect snack!
Ingredients
- 9 cups of Chex Cereal (Corn, Rice, Wheat mixed) to begin the Homemade Chex Mix
- 3 cups nuts (pecans, cashews, etc)
- 1 cup pretzels (broken up into smaller pieces)
- 6 TBSP butter
- 2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp No-salt seasoning (like a Mrs. Dash)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- M&Ms or candy (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees
- In a large roasting pan melt butter in oven
- Remove roasting pan from oven when butter is melted
- Add into the roasting pan Worcestershire sauce, no-salt seasoning, salt and garlic powder into melted butter and stir
- Add to roasting pan chex cereal and mix
- Add nuts and pretzel to roasting pan and mix
- Roast the chex mix ingredients for 1 hour. Stirring every 15 minutes.
- When roasting completed, spread out on paper towels to cool about 15 minutes
- Store in sealed container
- Mix in or layer with M&Ms or other candies
